ACTIVITIES NEAR THE AUBERGE BOURRELLY
5 GOLFS courses are within easy reach of the auberge. Gérard OTTAVIANI (handicap 8) is ready to assist you with his knowledge of the local courses. It is possible to make direct bookings. The auberge has a shady private car park and terrace, a solarium and a French billiard table. In nearby Aix-en-Provence, there is the International Music Festival in July as well as many concerts and dance events, summer and winter alike. There is also a spa which is open all year round, a bowling alley and theatres catering for all tastes. Seminars : a fully equipped 75 m2 conference room. Easy access for motorways, high-speed train station and Marseille Provence Airport. CEZANNE is close at hand, as the inescapable Sainte Victoire Mountain reminds us. To the north, the hills lead to Manosque and the Provence so dear to Jean Giono.. in the opposite direction the roads take us to Arles, the Camargue and the Alpilles of which the writers Mistral and Daudet extolled the virtues. Gordes, the Luberon, withiits authentic villages that have no need of flattery …..Marseille, the unruly, magnificent older brother, Cassis, a wonderful little fishing port, dominated by the Cap Canaille, from the top of which is a breathtaking panorama of the islands and the bays of Cassis and La Ciotat. ACCESS
Calas, which is very near Aix-en-Provence, is ideally situated for access to the motorways, high-speed train station and Marseille Provence Airport.
It is also close to the main tourist high spots , Luberon, Alpilles, Camargue, Avignon, Marseille, Cassis, ... The beautiful Var countryside is less than a quarter of an hour away and the Nice-bound motorway makes it possible to reach the first beaches in the Gulf of Saint Tropez in less than an hour. There are many shuttle services leaving the airport and the high-speed train station, which make transport to the Auberge very easy.
