In both Marseille and Aix, the
restaurant has long since been recognised as one of the best in the
area. The Bourrellys have been running it with talent for four generations
and Roger certainly lives up to the family reputation. With its rabbit
royale, agnolis with celery, and the genuine house foie gras, the menu
is composed of first-class products prepared with the know-how and artistic
touch of the chef. Just reading the menu is a pleasure in itself, with
its mouth-watering descriptions of the tastes and aromas that permeate
the house. In the beautiful dining room, guests can eat by the fireside
in winter or on the refreshing shady terrace, beneath the age-old plane
trees, in the summer.
